BACCALAUREATE IN PHILOSOPHY (Pontifical Gregorian University)
The College will propose as candidates for a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University, those who meet the requirements for entry to the B.A. Honours programme, and who have successfully completed a programme of philosophical subjects selected from those offered for the B.A. Honours programme above that satisfies both the Dean and Faculty of Arrupe College, as well as the Dean and Faculty of Philosophy of the Gregorian University.

REQUIREMENTS
1. The College will propose as candidates for a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Zimbabwe all who meet the requirements for admission to a degree programme at the University and who complete the College’s programme in accord with University standards. For admission all must have passed English language at least at the Ordinary level. Normal entry to the University of Zimbabwe requires either five passes, at least two at the Advanced level, or four passes, at least three at the Advanced level. Mature entry for students 30 years and older requires five passes at the Ordinary level and experience in virtue of which the University considers them ready for a degree programme.

2. The College will also admit religious students who have satisfied requirements for admission to a degree programme of universities of their home country, provided they have passed English language and four other subjects at least at Ordinary level. These are considered to be similar to Zimbabwean students accorded mature entry, because prior to receiving a university degree these religious have three or four years of education beyond that of a Zimbabwean who begins studying at the university with Ordinary levels: one more year of primary and secondary education, one or two years study of spirituality at a religious novitiate, and four years of university rather than three. The College will propose such students who complete the second year of the College’s programme with an average of 60 or higher (1st or 2nd Division) as candidates for a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Zimbabwe.

The College will propose as candidates for a Bachelor's debree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University, those who meet the requirements for entry to the B.A. Honours programme as on the left side, and who have successfully completed a programme of philosophical subjects selected from the offered for the B.A. Honours progrmme that satisfies both the Dean and Faculty of Arrupe College, as well as the Dean and Faculty of Philosophy of the Gregorian University
